Lost or Damaged Baggage Claims
We understand how stressful it is to arrive without your luggage. Here is what to do.
Step 1: Report Immediately
Before leaving the baggage claim area, visit the airline's baggage service desk. Do not leave the airport without filing a report — claims are harder to process later.
Step 2: Complete a Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
You will receive a PIR reference number. Keep this for all future communications.
Step 3: Track Your Bag
Use our online baggage tracker with your PIR number to follow the search status in real time.
Compensation for Delays
- Bags delayed more than 24 hours: up to $100 reimbursement for essential purchases (clothing, toiletries).
- Keep all receipts — you will need them for reimbursement.
Damaged Baggage
Report damage at the airport or within 7 days of arrival. Attach photos of the damage when submitting your claim online.
Lost Baggage Settlement
If your bag is not found within 21 days, it is considered lost. Compensation is calculated based on the contents declared and applicable conventions (Montreal Convention).
