Being prepared for security checks saves time and reduces stress.

Liquids Rule (3-1-1 Rule)

• Liquids, gels, and aerosols must be in containers of 100ml (3.4oz) or less.
• All containers must fit in one transparent, resealable 1-litre (1-quart) bag.
• One bag per passenger.

Exemptions

• Baby formula, breast milk, and baby food
• Prescription medications (with prescription label)
• Items purchased after the security checkpoint

Electronics at Security

Remove laptops and tablets larger than a mobile phone from your bag and place them in a separate tray.

Prohibited Items in Hand Luggage

• Sharp objects (scissors over 6cm, knives, razors)
• Firearms and replica weapons
• Flammable items

Tips for Faster Security

• Wear slip-on shoes and minimal metal accessories.
• Pre-pack your liquids bag for easy access.
• Enrol in TSA PreCheck or Global Entry for expedited screening.
